Franklin Falls Hike

We have had the most amazing September that I can remember. In fact, for the next week we are supposed to have temps from 75-80! LOVE IT! Anyway, last Saturday we decided to take advantage of the weather and go on a spur of the moment hike up to Franklin Falls in the Snoqualmie Forest. We all loved it (our dog included) and I would have to say its probably my new favorite hike with the kids. A pretty easy hike for them and beautiful scenery the entire way--not just when you get there!

Franklin Falls (I even caught it with a rainbow)

What it looked like on our way up (you could see this along the
left side of the trail the whole way up)

We had never seen such a huge tree before!
How many people would it take to hold hands around it we wondered?:>)

The whole Bolstad family, with our newest addition--Rosco!
Its hard to get a good family shot with seven of you.

It's time for a hug...
