I was hopeful I would get this video done yesterday in time to post it for your "real" birthday, but that obviously that never happened. Its ready now though...good things come to those who wait, right?! Eric and I had lots of fun putting this together and hope this gift we created for our beautiful miracles will be enjoyed by all as we share a glimpse of their life that started 3 years ago!

Rock and Worship Roadshow Concert
This was an amazing concert that we went to last night at the Key Arena, and even better when you consider it was only $10 per seat! It was myself and Madison and one of her best friends, Natalie, and her mom. We had a great time and it was Natalie's first concert, so that made it fun. It was definitely a long night though...we got home around midnight and then Natalie spent the night and apparently the two of them talked until 2:20 I am told!!! How they could even come and wake me at 8:15am this morning, I have no idea!
About to start....it was a packed house! So encouraging to see!!

Natalie and Madison enjoying the show.

Moms and their daughters...

Two of our favorite bands of the night...Mercy Me and Jeremy Camp!

Goodnight Seattle!

Lion King Show
My parents spent this past weekend with us. They got to come and watch Katelyn start her second session in her ice skating lessons on Saturday and Katelyn loved that they were there to watch her do that. On Sunday, they took Madison and Katelyn to the broadway show--The Lion King at the Paramount in Seattle. That was part of their Christmas present to them. Boy, was that ever a big hit. They said, "It was the best thing ever!" Mom is a bit jealous---I guess some year I'll have to go now.:>) Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for that very special gift and memory.

Toddler Science
The other day Alyssa and Audrey had their friend over to play. I let them play with their favorite kitchen appliances, some water and some soap. This is one of Alyssa and Audrey's favorite activities, and even more so with a friend. After they played with the water/bubbles for almost an hour, I decided to introduce a little bit of science--what happens when you add a little food coloring. Wow! They each picked out their own color and mixed it and then experimented with what happens when you pour each others colors into each others bowls. SMILES and more SMILES.

An inexpensive and very entertaining activity that can fill a good part of a toddlers day (and Moms) with delight.:>)

Sportin a New Look
Katelyn got new glasses a few days ago. I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant for her wanting to go with such a bold look over her last pair of glasses, but some things you just gotta let go of and now...I love them on her! She looks so hip and they are so much more fun! Her classmates and teacher love them too so its been fun to hear her come home and tell us what they have said.:>)

Queen Rebounder
Last Saturday Madison had her 3rd basketball game of the season. She has made quite the name for herself due to her rebounding--"Queen of the Rebounds." She loves playing defense and is not afraid to be aggressive. We have so much fun watching her play...needless to say, I get way into it.:>)
Bring it girlfriend!
She shoots and...almost scores.
