Nana and Papa Visit!

Last weekend, Nana and Papa came to visit us. They really wanted Eric and I to go out on a much needed date! How could one resist that?! We went to see a movie and went out to dinner Fri. night. We not only got to be alone, but we didn't have to be in a hurry either and we vowed not to talk about the girls! I tell ya, that is hard, but so wonderful too! Thank you so much Nana and Papa for encouraging us to get out and taking care of our girls. We had the most wonderful night!

On Saturday, Papa helped Eric finish up the work on the front of our home--it looks so much better. Thanks Papa! Nana and I and the girls did a little shopping for a couple hours that afternoon. Nana got them wallets, mommy bought them new headbands and then they got to go to one of their favorite places--the Sweet Factory! That night, Papa and Nana treated us to dinner at Claim Jumper while Katelyn was at a birthday party for a friend. Boy, Nana and Papa, you sure spoiled us!

Sunday, we all went pumpkin patch visiting. It was a beautiful day, and that meant LOTS of people. So, we went to Fall City pumpkin patch to get home-made donuts and see the farm animals. Then, we went to Jubilee to play in the barn hay maze and take a tractor ride to get our pumpkin. We had never done both in one day before, but decided that it was really fun that way b/c we could do what we liked best at each place. I think we have started a new tradition for future years!

Donut time-Yummy! Nana and Papa bought three dozen and they were gone within minutes.

Here are the pumpkins the girls picked out this year--I won't even tell you how much they cost! Lets just say that next year, Safeway is looking like a good option!
