Last Friday, the whole family joined the big girls at school and participated in the highly anticipated event/fundraiser of the year--Walk-A-Thon. The goal for the kids is to try and get around the school 20 times in 2 hours and for every 5 laps you get a raffle ticket (the goal for the school is to try and raise lots of money to help purchase various things for the school). You then get to put your raffle ticket into one of the bags with the prize you wish to win. There were over 40 very nice prizes this year. Unfortunately, my girls didn't win anything...but they did do lots of laps--14 and 15 which is pretty good considering we had to wait for the twins at times.:>) Mom volunteered to be the "security guard" for the second half of the event. Really, it was policing.:>)
The whole week leading up to the Friday event, was spirit week. One of the days was "Crazy Hair/Hat Day." My girls really like this day. Here are some pics.

Madison had colored pigtails all over.
Katelyn had braids all over in different colors.

Katelyn deciding where to place those raffle tickets.

"I really want this one!"
