The other day Alyssa and Audrey had their friend over to play. I let them play with their favorite kitchen appliances, some water and some soap. This is one of Alyssa and Audrey's favorite activities, and even more so with a friend. After they played with the water/bubbles for almost an hour, I decided to introduce a little bit of science--what happens when you add a little food coloring. Wow! They each picked out their own color and mixed it and then experimented with what happens when you pour each others colors into each others bowls. SMILES and more SMILES.
An inexpensive and very entertaining activity that can fill a good part of a toddlers day (and Moms) with delight.:>)
