I realized I haven't put a picture up of our new dog yet. Whoops! We got him on Dec. 19th right before all the snow. He is from the Humane Society and had just come from a foster home. He is about 2.5 years old (per what we have to go off of) and is Akita, Border Collie and Lab. His paws are white so it looks like he is wearing socks. His name was Chevy, but we renamed him Maak (a bit too redneck sounding for us and not "manly" enough). We were going to spell it Mak, but realized that if we spelled it Maak it could stand for all of our girls names (Madison, Alyssa, Audrey, Katelyn). Anyway, he is a GREAT dog for us so far--very social and loving, but at the same time great energy when outside. He loves to play fetch and go for walks/runs. When indoors, he wants to be right by your side and loves to sleep! A perfect combination for our busy family.
